about me
I'm a final year engineering student at Imperial. I've been fortunate to study on a merit-based academic scholarship whilst pursuing AI research (and industry roles) with hopefully some useful medical applications.
Beyond academics and internships, I co-founded a socio-altruistic startup which grew in the Kickstart Global incubator and took leadership roles in societies at Imperial. I'm always eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects, especially in the AI/tech/medtech startup space. Currently I'm working on a startup which we're super excited about :)

what i'm best at
My experience spans machine learning research, software engineering, and firmware + hardware development. I enjoy the entire stack, be that working on model architecture design, running experiments or post-training with RLHF. I've spent a fair bit of time exploring my AI interests, one of which is AI Safety – I'm fascinated by the cool problems in alignment and trustworthiness, especially given their healthcare applications2 In healthcare, AI systems must be trustworthy to be used safely - doctors and patients need to understand why an AI makes certain decisions, not just what those decisions are. . I'm lucky enough to have had internships in ML research, SWE, and as an embedded systems engineer (haven't sold out to finance yet).
some recent personal projects
Built a voice-powered AI pair programmer for VS Code that keeps developers in control while improving understanding and reducing skill rot.
Implemented Conservative Q-Learning (CQL) for offline reinforcement learning applied to sepsis treatment in the ICU.
Built GPT-2 from scratch to deepen my understanding of large language models and transformer architectures.
OedaSock is an innovative smart compression device, with an accompanying mobile app, designed to actively manage leg swelling (oedema).
